Fast Mute Voice Channel
Adds a single key you can press in-game to mute or unmute voice chat instantly.

Workshop dependency: this mod requires REA Core (unlisted on Workshop; subscribe via this mod’s dependency list or your preset tools).
Fast Mute Voice Channel adds a dedicated hotkey that flips voice chat between audible and muted, using the same VOIP slider / engine setting path the game already uses—so other systems see a consistent volume.
How it works (high level)
- The hotkey writes through
VolumeVoiceChatand the voice master bus, then signals a user-settings refresh so the UI and audio stack agree. - Mute remembers your last non-zero level for restore; if you set VOIP to 0% in the audio menu, that is treated as intentional and the hotkey stays inactive until you raise volume again—avoiding “stuck restore” edge cases.
- A short on-screen cue can confirm state changes. Related toggles live under Settings → Mods → REA when REA Core is loaded.
